Adrift

We're at the 10 year anniversary of the release of Aliens Colonial Marines. This was my first shipped title in my professional career. While not the most well received title, I am still really proud of my work on this game. I was part of an incredibly small team where I was responsible for building the majority of the shipped multiplayer levels of the game. My responsibilities included level completion from beginning to end including Level Design, Level Art, Lighting, Optimizations, and even prototyping and implementing new Game Modes that I designed myself. There were many obstacles with creating an asymmetrical based Multiplayer game with one team being able to climb on all surfaces of the levels. I was proud of being able to come up with both balanced layouts and maintain navigable surfaces for the xenomorphs without compromising visual aesthetics.
